El Informador Newspaper is a local, independent, certified minority-owned Spanish language publication. Established in 2008, El Informador aimed to educate and provide a voice to the local growing Latino community. Our publication covers a wide range of topics including local, national, and international news, culture, politics, health, education and community events while practicing fair/unbiased reporting. We are the largest Spanish language publication serving the Charleston and Hilton Head region in South Carolina. We focus our efforts on educating our readers regarding better health practices, sharing local services available to them in their language and informing our readers of important news and alerts.
Additionally, El Informador acts as an advocate within the community at large to promote progress, engagement, and cultural representation while working with multiple organizations to combine resources in an effort to better meet the needs of the Latino community.

Circulation
We currently maintain a verified circulation of 10,000 copies per edition, totaling 20,000 copies per month as a bi-weekly publication released every other Wednesday. We take our distribution and circulation very seriously, ensuring our readers always have access to the latest news through El Informador Newspaper.
